Who We Are
Road Hero AB (“Road Hero”, “we”) provides an app for incident and deviation reporting in public transport. The app is only available to drivers employed by our partner companies, under separate agreements.
Data We Collect
- User data: name, employee ID or other identifier linked to the employer.
- Reporting data: voice recordings, transcripts, incident descriptions, location data (if enabled).
- Technical information: device type, app version, logs.
How We Use Data
- To create structured incident reports and deliver them to the employer.
- To improve and maintain the service, including quality assurance and support.
- For research and development in anonymized form.
How We Share Data
- Incident reports are only shared with the user’s employer or other parties as defined in contractual agreements.
- We never sell or share data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Use of External Service Providers
To provide the AI assistant functionality, Road Hero uses external API services from OpenAI, L.L.C. When a driver makes a voice report, recorded or transcribed data is sent directly to OpenAI’s systems for processing.
- What data is sent: parts of the voice recording (or text) necessary to generate the incident report.
- Where data is processed: OpenAI may process data on servers outside the EU/EEA.
- How data is used: only to process and structure the report for the driver; Road Hero does not permit OpenAI to use the data for other purposes.
- Safeguards: we have agreements and technical measures in place to limit processing and protect user privacy.
By using the app, you agree that necessary data may be shared with OpenAI to enable the reporting function.
Storage and Security
- All data is stored encrypted on servers within the EU/EEA.
- Access is restricted to authorized personnel.
- Reports are retained for as long as required under agreements with employers.
